GEORGETTEQ went to the UK to study at the age of 14 and graduated from London College of Fashion in 2007. Q's graduation designs were part of the special presentation at London Graduation Fashion Week at London College of Fashion, appearing as the finale work. The designs received coverage from the BBC, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, and other leading British media. Later, they were exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. After graduation, Q joined Alexander McQueen's design team. Following 11 years in London, she decided to return home and set up GEORGETTEQ in Beijing in 2015. With a professional background in fabric and textile design, she pays close attention to the materials that make up her clothing.
