Kanoe Atelier

Kanoe Atelier was established in 2015 in Beijing by founder Li Na. It is a new-generation brand that embodies a strong spirit of independence and femininity. In every collection, the designer plays with avant-garde and clean-lined shapes while adopting a creative approach to tailoring proportions. Defined by a “Gentlewoman” style that is both accessible and directional, the brand seeks to express the beauty of modern androgyny through classical forms, while exploring architectural contours to create flattering silhouettes for the wearer. Kanoe Atelier designs for the everyday wardrobe of urban women, characterised by a sense of natural confidence and individuality.

DESIGNER

Li Na,Designer 2009 Majored in Menswear in BA in Fashion Design at ESMOD Fashion Institute , after completing a course in womenswear design. 2010 Awarded “Best Menswear Design” for graduate collection. Collaborated with Berlin’s fashion boutique AVANTGARDE for the entire collection. 2011 Established menswear brand OUTSIDER in Beijing. 2012-2014 Participated in Tranoi tradeshow in Paris and REBIRTH showroom in Tokyo. This experience in menswear design and trade was instrumental in shaping the “Gentlewoman” style, which the current womenswear brand Kanoe Atelier is based on. 2015 Founded womenswear brand Kanoe Atelier (Original name: Kanoe) in Beijing. 2016-2021 The brand has launched 14 collections to date.
