July has a wide spectrum of creative expertises. Graduated from Zhejiang University, California College of the Arts, July majored in industrial design, and MBA in design strategy. Her design work (Bubble Toothbrush and First Aid Blanket) won the Red Dot Design Award 2015: Best of Best. She then worked at various tech giants and startups as a Senior Interaction Designer. She initiated and launched several products that reached millions of customers and created MM level revenue impact. Still July decided to follow her passion and first came to New York in 2019 to study in Parsons, where she discovered her love for textile and the endless possibilities and innovation that knitwear could bring. July dropped from Parsons during the pandemic to create her own line. She takes inspiration from the nature, transfers the daily mundanes and emotions into her work.
