Naya Rea was born and raised in Russia in the multi-cultural family (Korean/Japanese/Uighur). After graduating from the Academy of Architecture in her home city Novosibirsk with a degree in interior design Naya quickly realized that her real passion lays towards fashion and clothes making. That led her to move to London and enroll to London College of Fashion where she studied fashion design and technology. After working in bespoke design studio and gaining enough experience in craftsmanship of women's clothes her namesake brand was born.
