Founded in July 2010 in New York City, Xinnatex New York is a women’s wear brand established by Jin Hsu and Joey Lee that represents a city dweller’s attitude, forward thinking innovation influenced by architectural design. The brand name ‘XINNATEX ‘ is derived from ‘X’, the unknown variation, innovation and textile. After three years of styling experience in Asia, Jin Hsu moved to New York City at the age of 23 to attend the Parsons School of Design. During his senior year, Jin Hsu began assisting at the top sample making studios of Rag & Bone and Proenza Schoular. During this time, he also started his first capsule collection in the last semester of the fashion design program. For his first collection, Xinnatex New York was awarded for being one of the twelve best emerging designers to showcase at WWD MAGIC exhibition in Las Vegas, 2012. the brand has been featured in WWD, WGSN, CREEM, SOMA, SURFACE, INSTYLE and COSMOPOLITAN magazines.
