N+1 is a new designer brand and international designer collection platform, advocating freedom and a relaxed and fashionable personality. It draws on Chinese culture for inspiration, paying close attention to aesthetics of different volume and color combinations, and thus embodies contemporary fashion with its simple style. Buddha Jumps over the Wall is a traditional dish made from up to a dozen kinds of expensive ingredients with complex preparation before frying to make for a delicious dish, often served at large banquets to entertain guests. N+1's collection for 2019AW was inspired by this rich dish, and it combines these inspirations with the sacred texts found in the the Kizil Grottoes in Xinjiang. The “Buddha” we refer to does not represent the real Buddha, but traditional culture. The Buddha Jumps over the Wall series means to jump out of the traditional framework and view the world with a more inclusive and multi-faceted perspective. The key points of the whole series can be summarized as the nostalgic and versatile. In terms of patterns, the illustrator series from BANBAN extracts traditional patterns such as Xianglong and Botao from traditional mythology, and the more avant-garde style gives this series a unique atmosphere of playfulness and chivalry.
